Kangaroos Secure First Signing Of The Season In Will Herring
A chance to cement himself as a regular first grade five-eighth has seen Will Herring make the switch to Kangaroos.
The Gundagai product is the first signing for the Wagga club under new coach James Smart.
He was man of the match in Gundagai's reserve grade premiership last year and the opportunity to make the number six jersey his own proved too tempting.
"I decided it was time for a change and a new challenge," Herring said.
"I've been in and out of first grade now for the past couple of years and Smarty was keen to give me an opportunity to play first grade in my preferred position so I was keen to give it a crack."
